Pricing and Packaging with AI Overview

Most prices aren’t decided. They’re copied from a competitor, inherited from a spreadsheet, or rounded to a number that felt safe. This workshop teaches one method for setting a price you can defend: build willingness to pay from what your buyer would do instead and what that alternative costs them. You’ll work on your own product, using AI to research that cost, put value ranges on how you’re better and worse, and argue against your figure from the buyer’s side. You leave with one page: the figure, the arithmetic behind it and what still has to be measured with real buyers.

Start From What Your Buyer Would Do Instead
  • Name the buyer and the one alternative they would use if you did not exist.
  • Establish what that alternative costs them today.
  • Get your current price answer on paper and see where it came from.
Value Your Differences with AI
  • Use AI to put dollar ranges on what you do better, and worse, than that alternative.
  • Label every input researched or assumed, and pick the figure yourself.
  • Surface at least one honest disadvantage you had not written down.
Defend the Number
  • Have AI argue, as your buyer, that your estimate is inflated.
  • Keep the objections you cannot answer as your research list.
  • Leave with a short internal brief you send before the session ends.
