PowerPoint Karaoke Tonight at ProductParty Austin!

If you are in Austin tonight and want to come out and get your networking on, check out ProductParty Austin, from the team that brings you ProductCamp Austin.  ProductParty is a networking event with drinks, followed tonight by a 1-hour session that I will be MCing called PowerPoint Karaoke, or PPTK.

For the uninitiated, PPTK is like Karaoke, with slides.  You get up in from of the room and have 2 minutes to present from a slide deck that you’ve never seen before.  The slides are totally random, pulled from various presentations from the Internet.  Your job is to create a story to go along with the slides.  The session is fast paced, fun, and a great ice breaker.  It is also good skill building for your presentation skills and ability to think on your feet, in front of a friendly supportive audience.

I will be there tonight, as well as John Milburn of Pragmatic Institute – we hope to see you there!
