Is it your best effort or are you just getting it done?

In the day-to-day grind of marketing there are many things you are asked to accomplish. All require some kind of result or outcome. Things get in the way of your success. Some you can’t control. Many you can. It’s so easy to get into a rhythm of getting things done just to get them done; mistaking the deliverable for the outcome. You can change that by understanding the importance of the outcome and focusing your efforts around those activities that matter and those that don’t. And for the ones that matter, give it your best effort. I’ll be working with motivated marketing professionals soon in Vancouver (November 7-9) to address this issue and many others marketers face bringing their products to market. If you can make it, join us to learn, to share, and to network. I’ll be teaching Effective Product Marketing (2 days) and Product Launch Essentials (1 day). Click on the links to learn more, or send me an email at ddaniels@pragmaticmarketing.com. Are you giving it your best effort or just getting it done?
