Alas, employees don't care!

A Gallup survey found that only 25% of employees are “actively engaged”. 75% are just muddling through. Many employees report that they don't understand the strategy or how what they do helps achieve it.They say they have the accountability but not the responsibility. Could it be that employEEs are not the problem? EmployER, heal thyself! Managers of product managers take note: are you doing all the strategic thinking and relegating the product managers to the grunt work? You know, admin, meetings, scheduling?
